How to Use Your Smart Card
Registering for an event
  • When registering for events that require a Smart Card, provide the name shown on your Smart Card below your photo, as well as your Smart Card number that appears in the bottom left corner of your Smart Card (it is three letters followed by three digits, e.g., XYZ123).
Displaying at an event where you will have reliable internet access
  • From your mobile device, access this site. You should automatically be taken to the page where your Smart Card is displayed. If not, choose the "View Your Smart Card" option from the "Do Something Else" drop-down.
  • Depending on the size of your mobile device, you may need to increase the size of your Smart Card to allow the QR code to be scanned.
Displaying at an event where you will NOT have reliable internet access
  • From your mobile device, before the event while you have a good internet connection, access this site and click on the "Go To Smart Card App" button. This will open the Smart Card web app in a separate browser tab.
  • Follow the instructions to install the Smart Card web app on your mobile device so that it can be used in the future without an internet connection.
  • Be sure to open the installed Smart Card web app while you have internet access as close to the time of the event as possible to ensure that your Smart Card is successfully stored on your mobile device for offline use.
  • Once at the event, open the installed Smart Card web app to display your Smart Card. Tap on the Smart Card image to display it on your mobile device's full screen.
Using Apple Wallet
  • In the Smart Card web app, tap on the "Add to Apple Wallet" button. Follow your mobile device's instructions to add the Smart Card "pass" to Apple Wallet.
  • To display your full Smart Card image from your Apple Wallet:
    1. Tap on the three-dot button in the upper right corner of the Smart Card pass shown in Apple Wallet.
    2. Tap on the "Pass Details" option and then click on the link shown under "View Full Smart Card".
    3. Be sure to do this while you have internet access as close to the time of an event as possible.
Using Google Wallet
  • In the Smart Card web app, tap on the "G Pay / Google Wallet" button. Follow your mobile device's instructions to add the Smart Card "pass" to your Google Wallet.
  • To display your full Smart Card image from your Google Wallet:
    1. Click on the three-dot button in the upper right corner of the Smart Card pass shown in Google Wallet.
    2. Click on the "View Full Smart Card" option.
    3. Be sure to do this while you have internet access as close to the time of an event as possible.
